Things I would miss if you stopped touring: my heart and soul

As a fan, I know the day is coming, but I'll never be ready. I think that's a common feeling with a lot in life, especially when looking back later at the things you didn't know were the "last time" for certain things. However, this kind of thing is a good reminder to appreciate the 'now'. Cheers to appreciating the small things and finding peace everywhere it exists.

Also congrats again on the license!

I love making lists, this one made me feel some kind of way. Can't wait for tour, I'll enjoy it like it's the last. Just in case!

"The first Show, The last Show"

Wow this words sound heavy, just to think in the last time we will do something we love... but, at some point everything needs to evolve.... (here also tired from a long journey).

I really hope You guys can make music for more years (so I can see you live at concert), but if you decide to go for another path, I think the way you are will keep making art, that book, that TV series and so...

Love T&S.

Ciao Sasa!

This post is so sweet, also I've been traveling recently to LAX and I have that tunnel printed in my fresh memory.

Waiting for updates on the cruise! dammit it sounds like an experience of a lifetime!

Thing I would miss if you stopped touring apart from you. I wouls miss the buzz of the travelling, the singing your so gs at the top of our voices in the car. My chosen family who I only see on the tours.

Sara, it’s so nice to see you back on here as busy as you are. Thank you! Congratulations on getting your DL. Yaaay! And I tip my hat to your whip of choice. 😊

Has there ever been a hotel you stayed in where the coffee was delicious?

Isn’t it nice to be able to crank the A/C in hotels that we aren’t having to worry about THAT bill! 😂

Thank you for sharing, Sara! Congrats on your drivers license. Definitely hook us up with a “driving” playlist if yours once you get comfortable listening to music and driving. What kind of music do you play for Sid?

I appreciate you being so present in observing things that most don’t pay attention to, like the way an empty terminal sounds, or what the sunset looks like. It’s those details that make you extra loving to your loved ones. You see what most take for granted! Love it.

Hey Sara,

Thanks for the post! Please try and read them for us (I understand it’s not feasible for either of you while on tour but please before and after would be great!).

This’ll probably be a much shorter comment than my average, just because I can’t remember off the top of my head last time I was in an airport or where I was even going (probably to NSW because I have family up there), I know it was pre covid there for before I got Grover (my dog).

I would love to know how Sid’s doing, he’s Turing 1 soon right? (I keep track using my baby cousin’s age and she’s 2 months older and already 1.) I saw her today, she has 6 teeth now and can say a few words. (Feel free obviously not to tell me anything about Sid, but if you’re willing I’d love to hear about some of the stuff like I just shared for example.)

How are the cats going with Sid? My aunt and uncle also have two cats and there was a video of her (my cousin) giving one of the cats ears a good yank circulating on our family group chats. The cat was really good about it. Has Sid ever done something similar? Do you think they’re still waiting for him to leave?

So much for being shorter. Ah well. (Again feel free to ignore the Sid related questions, no pressure.)

Thanks for posting! Can’t wait to see you guys on tour! (As I explained to Tegan already I can’t really afford to see you in Canada or America as a 16 year old who currently has no job and wants to move out in 5 years or so. Alas I will have to wait for you to come my way. I’m hoping by then I can book to see every show that you do in Aus (or at least more than one when you do come). For now I will stick to online. See you on zoom for the virtual event! Looking forward to it!

Love this post, just not thinking about a time when there won’t be shows to go to 😆👀

Love the photos at the end, having them all in black & white just hits different 🫶🏻

Love the idea of a cruise - we’ve been waiting ever since we got off that ship after Parahoy 😎

And love that you got your Drivers License. Congrats 🥳 x

Ah I do love that bright Crybaby ice cream, so cool! 😊 Thanks for sharing this list Sara, and I long for having fresh clothes just delivered, sounds wonderful. 😊 Cosy too.

Ps and that bathroom selfie made me smile, glad I’m not the only one! I have lots like that in my phone 😂

Lol. Even I can relate to this — “Googling “coffee shop near me” in the morning. “

Listening to the "Live at the Phoenix" tracks right now and thinking about how good a band T&S is, first show to last ... when and wherever that may be. I am grateful for all of it.
