I love all these photos and hope you do a part 2! I have discovered so many musicians, artists and podcasts because you have recommended or collabed with them. I never realised you guys met the xx so that's awesome to see, I love Romy's new record. I also hate when they put the queer artists on different stage at the same time, they are still doing that in 2024 and it is homophobic! Also love the Shura shootout, I met Shura and her twin Nick after your show in London in 2016 and I was obsessed with her album Nothing's Real, excited for her new music coming!

Love all these photos 😍 I'm with you on the whole organising photo thing. It's a never ending task! I've tried to sort out all mine into folders but it's impossible to keep up and filter through everything!

The So Jealous X book/cd set you did was amazing and one of my favourite things you've ever released. So something like that would be 👌🏻🔥. I always prefer to have physical copies of music/video when possible as well as digital, just incase.

The tour was stunning, so it would be amazing to be able to hear those reimagined songs again & again ❤️

+ I met you V.briefly back in 2010 when you played London, UK. I had a photo taken on an actual camera because camera phones weren't a thing!! When I got the film developed i was so excited to finally see the photo and those I took at the show... But they told me the whole film was ruined 😭 And I've never had a chance to see you again since then. So please come back to England at some point. I know I won't get to meet you for a photo but all I want is to see you live again!! Ilysm +

i have found some of my favorite bands either through your openers (lucius!!) or your social media posts (shura and MUNA) - i also enjoy finding songs randomly through streaming algorithm, but the personal rec from artists i like or ppl who have recommended me good music before is extra great. and also have always liked seeing y'all interact with artists i already loved like sara bareilles - i remember a page in her memoir about how cool you are :)

also, i would absolutely buy a not tonight CD with or without new photos, yes please!!

Hey Tegan,

Wow! Thank you for the post! But you know what I’m going to say, please read when you can.

I’ve finished reading it/listening to Siri read it, but the end of the Cyndi Lauper post struck a cord for me. Because at first I thought you meant before same sex marriage was legal in America but i took a better look at your haircuts and realised it was pre the con and you meant before same sex marriage was legal even in Canada. (It took me a sec, because I was born in 2006, so for me it’s always been legal in Canada.) I guess I’d never seriously thought about what it meant, I knew it meant queer people can’t get married but as a trans person… I don’t exactly have words for how it makes me feel thinking about that. Because we all know that if gay people are being discriminated against so are trans people but it’s often worse. (This is not a ‘we have it harder’ thing, I’m just thinking about how scary it would’ve been back then to be trans. I’m scared enough now.) it struck a chord too, because I was alive when Australia (and America) legalised gay marriage. In Australia it was in 2017, I was 10 (turning 11) and that was the first time I started learning about homophobia and the different sides people were on. I had a sticker in the pride flag colours that said ‘I’m voting yes’ stuck to my iPad which I kept removing every time we went to a particular church group (if you catch my drift). It just made me think about it, because I didn’t figure out I was queer until 2 years after that. Even then I think it was around 36 or 38 percent of Australia voted no. In 2017!!

It all just makes me think about furthering queer rights and how long we still have to go. As you (T&S) have said many times, gay marriage equality is the first step towards acceptance not the last.

Sorry, I know that was more melancholy than usual, but as a trans person it’s kinda hard not to think about trans rights when the media won’t stop attacking us and seeing new bills get passed.

Thank you Tegan and Sara for fighting so hard for the whole 2SLGBTQ+ Community!

Love the photos Tegan! I’ll have to check out some of these artists!

Thanks for sharing Tegan!

Your career so far has let you meet so many amazing artists, the way you describe them is rather like we all see t&s ,both of you are so talented and funny and humble ,always staying true to yourselves 😁.

Hope you get to meet so many more of your idols and artists in the future too.(love the Katy Perry pic) .have a great summer .

I totes agree that you should do a collection with an actual photo book. Being an old school music fan who is only a few years older than you 🤣 that would be totally dope. Those photos are fantastic and I'm the same way on my phone I collect a bunch of things I almost never look at but can't barely part with them

I would love to have a collector's package to commemorate the concert I attended on the tour. That concert gave me the opportunity to spend time with my mom, eat good food, and explore Ottawa. I enjoyed reading the captions and looking at the photos of the various artists you guys had the opportunity to meet. The photo of Katy Perry and you reminds me of how I feel when I am at your concert.

These are amazing, and thank you for adding some context to the pictures. I live for that stuff.

I also find it unfortunate that most of my pictures languish in a digital suspension, but it is similar to physical pictures sitting in an album for years.

However you two decide to package the last tour, rest assured we’re here for it.

P.S. The A.I. generated voice can’t hold a candle to you.
