Thank you for sharing Tegan. Covid sucks and I hope you don't have the lingering stuff too long. Have too many friends with long covid. It's no joke. Unfortunately omicron isn't providing much immunity with people getting it again in weeks so be careful. I've been super careful and vigilant as I work with a young woman who is super high risk and I'd die if I was the one ended up giving it to her if she got it. Unlike a lot of people around here I still n95 mask everywhere I go. Yeah I miss the social stuff but I didn't really do a lot of it before covid so it's not a huge change. Thanks to you, yes you Tegan 🙂, though I've built a substantial online community that didn't exist for me before TnS and covid and coming out which is amazing because now I have friends around the world. I'm super grateful for that. I hope you and the crew manage to avoid covid while you tour. Hope to see you in Calgary ❤. Take care and love the island views you've posted pics of. So serene looking. A place I'd love to go to get away from the world for a little while.
yes, i know more and more people who are getting covid again quickly after their first infection. def being cautious. don't want it again anytime soon. glad you're finding a community here online! yay!
Glad you feel better. I got Covid in February. The cough continued for several weeks after. Problem is that in April I had a mini stroke at work (I’m 27 but I teach middle schoolers sooo). My health hasn’t been the same ever since. Everyone said that’s a Covid aftermath. Also it fucked my allergies big time. Always get a checkup if you feel like something’s wrong.
So relieved you didn’t have a severe dose of Covid. It’s not fun at all having to be under observation for 48 hours in case I had to be hospitalised. I still have breathing problems and major fatigue, also insomnia. Weird about the hives, both me and Charlie keep breaking out in hives since we had it too. Now I have long covid, it’s made me realise how much my managers take advantage of me at work. I have come close to telling them to stick the job up their ass, hoping my interview goes well tomorrow so I can stop having to deal with thieves and rude bigoted customers. One woman refused to get served by me after she asked me if I was gay after I wished one our regulars a Happy Pride I said yes. I don’t know how she could tell! I mean, do I look queer to you Tegan. I thought I was hiding it well. I have to say, it took all my strength not to thow a chair at her. I heard her saying to her friend that she refused to be served in case i had that “queer disease” that all that “fucking mob” have. I just wished her a happy pride and served the next customer and counting the minutes till I finished mt shift. Just another reason I hope i get this job.
Glad you’re feeling better and I hope your dad is on the mend. Did he have similar post covid symptoms too! Love to you, Sofia, Georgia, Sara, Stacy,Holiday and Mickey. Mustn’t forget your mum and Tilly and the rest of the family. Stay safe and covid free. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍🤎🖤
Wow, this post reminded me of Where Does The Good Grow, probably the best thing covid brought us, I miss the lives! I didn't get covid, or at least I don't think I did yet and that honestly surprises me but I'm not complaining, lol, I'm glad your experience with it was "mild". I loved the messages between you and Sara 😂 I'm so excited for the show, the album and the tour! I hope all goes well and no issues due to covid or any other reason. You had to cancel a whole tour already :/ Did you guys have a setlist figured out for the cancelled tour? If yes, would you share the setlist we missed? 🥲
we never 100% confirmed the set list for the 2020 canceled tour. the goal was to go out and have a party on stage. that is NOT the goal for the fall. LOL
Aw I’m glad you only got it mildly Tegan, I caught Covid off my dad for the first time, six months ago. Luckily I only got it mildly too, I only had one bad day of symptoms which was on the first or second day I think, I got all the symptoms, achy, fever, cough and brain fog etc. Although I got the brain fog is so bad that I don’t really remember much of it, I was delirious 😂. (The only thing I do remember is that I have this bizarre memory of manically laughing at something at about three in the morning, no idea what and who knows why that’s the only thing that stuck in my memory, my brain had clearly left the building by this point, but yeah very strange 👀🤷🏻♂️)
Then after that one day I was fine, just a temperature and headache. Lots of water and medication and I was fine.
Yeah I’m still massively into hand washing when I’m in anywhere public too. (It’s a good habit to have anyway).
I went to my first concert since Covid on Saturday and I will admit as much as of course it’s a risk, it felt so good to be back! It was SO good. I didn’t realise how much I’d missed it.
Glad you had a Sara to help you, and thanks for sharing all of this Tegan. 😊
I hate covid..I'm not a nerd student, but I remember missing my school during the pandemic..I also remember that when normalization began, when we returned to school, people who sneezed were looked at with suspicious eyes.. Right now, people have already forgotten about covid(so they don't care)..Hospitalization rate is very low too..Anyway Tegan pay a lot of attention to yourself 'cose when you suffer your fans suffer.. Love you all💖💖💖💖
Glad to see you Covid wasn’t too "fierce". And Sara could totally pretend to have it so you would be at her service and bring some chips. Just sayin’...
Hello everyone, I wish covid would go away. I don't know if this would help. I've been taking super C vitamins. Which is vitamin c, zinc and vitamin D. A couple of people at my job also caught covid recently. So I was trying to keep myself safe and healthy lord knows missing work is not a option. I hope everyone is doing alright.
So glad you’re feeling better Tegan! I still haven’t had Covid and I really hope I’ll never have it because it can hit you bad. Thank god you had only mild symptoms.
Also, super excited for the tour. I know you’re not coming to Europe, so Europe will have to come to the US or Canada 😅
Glad you had a mild case. I had it in January of this year and got sick kinda flu like but not terrible and nothing lingering, kinda felt inevitable and a relief like oh I finally got it. Enjoy your 3 months of immunity, I enjoyed Billie Eilish, Haim and seeing Motley Crue next week. Not sure I'll ever go back, now I know what it is, I'm not scared and concerts are too much fun...
When is that tour coming to Philly, upper Darby or glenside? Lol
Glad you're feeling better. I'm still holding on, have yet to get COVID although my family and most of my friends have had it. Stay safe, I love y'all and your music so much<3

I just had a week of allergies and definitely found myself suppressing my desire to sneeze/cough. ha. It's definitely a weird thing socially.
Sara is soooo sweet, take care of yourselves, COVID’s sucks🫠
Feel Better Tegan and Sofia ❤️❤️
I love reading your correspondence! It reminds me of the way my sister and I communicate lol!
This is a recent conversation;
Me: Hey! What’s you favorite Dinosaur?
Sister:
Guh mornin
I don’t know!
Maybe birds
Me: YOU MUST PICK
SISTER:
The one that flies!
Me: the pterodactyl?
Sister: Yeah!
Me: Noice! Why?
Sister: wings
Me: Solid.

Glad to see you Covid wasn’t too "fierce". And Sara could totally pretend to have it so you would be at her service and bring some chips. Just sayin’...
