However, I can understand why you might not want to. I’ve only appeared on tv once in my life (my girlfriend at the time and I ruffled some feathers at a Tim Hortons in a small town because we pecked each other on the lips). It ended up on the news as there was a big protest about it..anyways I was extremely camera shy and I never want to be on tv again haha.

Your cover of Today is absolutely incredible. I've been a die hard Pumpkins fan since I was a teenager and a huge T&S fan since If It Was You. When you announced the cover I was beyond excited, but for some reason I assumed it would be a striped-down, acoustic version of the song. When the drums and guitars kicked in my jaw hit the floor. Easily my favourite cover of a Pumpkins song I've ever heard. Soooo good! Well done!!!

Very fucking excited for the tv show!!! I also really like the cover of smashing pumpkins today. I have this thing I like to do where if I don’t know a song or I’m not sure weather I know it I listen to it a few times and then the cover (I’ve always been a stickler for the original version of the song vs another band’s version, though that tends to fall out the window when the two of you do covers!
I’m excited to watch the recent press and listen to yellow live! (I haven’t done it yet cause I wanted to have something to look forward to at the end of the day!) I can’t wait! I love the studio versions of your songs but the lives are usually even more epic!

I was already pumped, but this is even more exciting. And, I loved the way you explained the need for fictionalized portrayals of your loved ones. Si often in lit, movies/show get relentlessly compared to "book-accuracy" and authenticity to the text. But when that text is about real life people, in a more consumable, visual nature, without room or time for nuance, the rules change. Love this for you all.💙💜

Wow this is definitely a good era for T&S I admire the evolve you have in all this new formats, specially with all the writing (book & Substack). Little story, I was at Barnes & Noble (5th Av.) very happy with my copy ready to check out, and then this table that I had not seen with hard cover versions: "signed copy" I said to the cashier: OMG sorry I need this one, and with an smile and kindness she toke the paperback understanding this weird fan.
Really congrats in this journey of yours, please keep writing, thank you for your music, and inspiration for writing. Waiting for the album, the new book and the series!!
