What a wonderful show! It was my first time seeing you guys and my girlfriend proposed at the sound check❤️ Truly the most lesbian moment in history. Can’t wait to see you guys again!

That venue in New York was super cool (and cold) even though it stole your voice. I was standing up close but was feeling claustrophobic so I moved out to the back and was grateful for the big video screens on the sides. The VIP soundcheck was a lot of fun too. Thanks for answering my silly question about Drunk History! I hope you keep the soundcheck parties going on whatever your next tour looks like.

Thank you for doing these Tegan ❤️ Would there be any way us fans could help arrange/fundraise for you guys to tour abroad? I’d 100% love to do something to help if I meant I/another fan got to see you live again!

With respect to High School, I read the book but the audiobook is markedly better. The original music and the narration by you two made the story that much richer. I’m at the outcome Garage Warz and I got choked up and watery eyed. That didn’t happen when I read it originally. It’s excellent.

Really looking forward to the Emy interview! My favourite merch item of yours is the Twin jumper (I'm wearing it as I type this!)

Just popping in to say my husband and I finally finished watching the Highschool series a few days ago. Tonight he asked me “Are there more episodes of the Tegan & Sara show or did we watch them all? There’s only 8? When will there be more? Will they post on substack about when more episodes come out? I hope they do more.”

Thanks for talking about this, I’ve course I would love for you to come to the UK etc, but I can’t imagine what with everything going on in the world, how much it would cost to do stuff like this abroad at the moment. So I completely get it. When it comes down to it if it’s too much, it’s not worth the stress to you and Sara, and all involved. But anyway, this is next year’s problem. Just enjoy the hell out of the rest of this tour with everyone! 😊❤️

Loved all the answers to these questions by the way, I’m looking forward to you maybe talking to Emy at some point about her Crybaby artwork. Emy’s so talented, that’s seven albums worth of wonderful art she’s done now. Not to mention everything else, there’s too much to list! Emazing

Yes please have Emy talk about her inspiration and process for the Crybaby artwork! It is very interesting and particular. And doing livestreams in order to complement tour revenue sounds like a great idea. Us T+S fans are used to watch shows on YouTube that other fans record, it's actually one of my favorite aspects of this fandom. I would totally pay to be able to see a livestream and ig there was a recording of the show you could download afterwards, that would be sweet. I wish we had something like that for the HIJLY songs.

I get to see you guys next Sunday at the Commodore and I'm so insanely excited. I'm chronically ill, and this years has been the WORST ever. This might be the highlight of my year.

All that being said, whenever I see bands taking covid stuff seriously, it makes me so happy. When I go to shows these days, I have to stay back from the crowd and keep my mask on. I'm on 3 immunosuppressants and have the immune system of a new born.

I digress,

I wanna say, I would be dancing and singing up front, but I can't these days 😭

Please know that I am sitting at a reserved table off to the back, stage left, singing my heart out to every word, under my mask 💜💜💜💜💜💜

Hey Tegan,

I like these posts, people have such interesting T&S questions! As always my two dog questions will be in two of the paragraphs.

I would love to see you and Sara in Aus next year! My mum went to buy the crybaby cd at the store today (we have a really old car where you can play cd’s still) and the person had to check in the back cause it sold out! When my mum told me the story I was like ‘wow, well that’s awesome that people are loving crybaby too!’ (This was just as a shopping centre!) so I see what you mean about Australia loving crybaby! Plus, how could you not come back soon with me on here all the time, lol jk.

It was so cool when you two went on rage! I loved seeing closer, the con and yellow on a big screen! It was awesome! My mum loved seeing crowded house on a tv too! (She’s a huge crowdy fan)!

Feel free to ignore this part of my comment if you don’t want to talk about this publicly, but you said in one of the segments that you feel like you and Sara are from Australia/New Zealand even though your from Canada, do you want to elaborate on this? Personally, (if you’re convertible sharing), I’d love to hear more about this!

My questions are below!

My first doggy T&S related question is more related to touring than T&S the band. Are therapy dogs allowed at your shows? A friend of mine would love to come to a show (if you get to Aus) but can’t make it if therapy dogs aren’t allowed. Please let me know.

how’s Georgia going without you, and was it harder being sick without her there as extra comfort? Or is she not that type of dog?

My last question is, I’m getting a dog in January and I want to know if you have advice. The dog in question won’t be a puppy but will probably be around a year old, (still young). The dog will also be a smart breed and need mental stimulation like Georgia does (saw your TikTok about her). Any advice?

Thanks for answering some of the VIP questions you missed! I’ve said this before but, I think it’s really great the way you both go the extra mile for your fans!

Phoenix, he/they/it, 15, Australia

I love what you said that you and Sara are two extremes meeting in the middle. That's what I love about your albums. You give us a variety of content that we never get bored.

Absolutely appreciate your insightful responses. It truly makes appreciating your music, shows, book, show, and story, much greater! Thank you for answering my Q&A question about your mantra. “What is” will be an upcoming tattoo. As an educator, it’s assumed I’m not afraid of public speaking, but all I could muster up to say to you, Tegan, is thank you for your response and signing my Crybaby bag. 😂. Deeply humbled by your sincerity! Oh, and you were right about the cool stuff Sara is doing on the bass! Sara kicks ass!!!
