"Remember you won't be alone forever, you like sleeping alone and you shouldn't feel so sorry for yourself" - so relatable, love your poem Sara

Sage words. You have a lovely life and family. Kudos.

Did you do something like that every year or was it just that one time?

Your Canadian accent is showing. Hehe.

I think you and Tegan have truly returned home now.

I love the crossed out 08, lol, the mistake we all universally make at the new year (or in my case, the first 6 months :P ).

Ciao!

Imagine me wondering about this very specific matter and myself and receiving a notification from SKQ literally answering my questions.

Are you a medium, Saretta?

xoxo

Hey Sara,

Thanks for sharing! And thank god that you read that. As a dyslexic it was much appreciated that you added an audio of you reading (interesting sound effects on the audio by the way.)

So glad you found Stacey. It’s always weird now (for me) watching any T&S vids or interviews before heartthrob, partly because you look so young and also with the timeline, it feels weird. Before you even met the person that resulted in a whole new human. As ‘maryam’ said, I’m very happy for you that you found your person and created a family with her.

I agree with ‘Chloe’ on here too! The poem was awesome and very relatable. Although I love sleeping next to my dog, and I’d hate to sleep without a dog next to me now that I’m used to him. But because of my mental health lately, I haven’t had any time to put into thinking about love and romance. I know, I’m 16 what am I complaining about, I have lots of time, but me being 16 has been more hindrance than help lately (and for the last few years) being too young for top surgery. So it’d be nice to have something else, like romance, to focus on.

Thanks for sharing!

Noticed there’s been not much activity on your (and Tegan’s) socials good for you guys! I’m glad you can take a well earned break from tour and everything for a bit before the If it was you tour!

Phoenix, he/they/it, 16, Australia

PS: I’m leaving the ‘Australia’ part of my sign off in to remind you (T&S) to come to Australia, doesn’t mean I’m super proud to be Australian right now after the result of the referendum. It sucks that because I’m 16 I couldn’t even vote, it felt like I just had to sit and watch! (Just wanted to make my political stance clear).

Thanks for reading!

Sara is wise. today I bought vegetable cream cheese and broccoli nuggets shaped like dinosaurs. that is enough. and I have a date tomorrow. I think I am on the right track but this reminded me I should probably fix the toilet seat.

I really thought this said "stay away from skeets," until I listened to the audio. Gotta love that Newfoundland lingo.

2009-Sara was on to something! Except sticking to one coffee a day - why would you make your life so much harder? ;)

my mom long ago made it a tradition with our family that we all sit down together and write new years resolutions every year, but first look at last years and evaluate how we did. there have been times where i find the family-enforced-ness frustrating - maybe i don't want to have goals or improve or self-reflect!! maybe i keep putting the same "exercise more" each year and not really accomplishing it. but in the end i generally appreciate having that moment of reflection, and sometime i need to go back through my email and find older ones to see what i was resolving as a kid. whether or not every goal gets followed, it's nice to have that new year reset moment.

also always love a glimpse at sara's art!!

This is such a sweet family tradition! Apologies if this is unwanted advice, but if the "exercise more" goal is something you'd genuinely like to accomplish, try making it smart (specific, measurable, achievable, etc etc) - e.g. "join a gym and go to 2 classes a week", "swim on Thursday mornings", "join a sports team", whatever kind of exercise it is that floats your boat 😊
