Hi all, As I’ve become more comfortable driving and I’ve been updating my playlist for car rides. Top drives this summer: Ikea, Spanish Banks, a dental cleaning, and a spontaneous late night movie, solo. This morning I took Sid down to the English Bay, with his push cart, and some snacks. On the way home, he started to drift off, and I had to turn off my mix, and sing,

I can’t imagine what it’s like trying to keep a human baby entertained, it’s hard enough keeping my fur baby (my dog Grover) entertained some days. It’s funny, sometimes I can feel people starring at me as I do more and more silly things to get Grover’s attention back. I’ll try anything that works if it stops him putting god knows what in his mouth. Everything is apparently fair game because he’s a Labrador!
Anyway that’s my dog rant! Good luck with Sid! We’re you trying to get him to sleep or stop him? Is it not good for babies to sleep in the car? Grover flat out refuses to sleep, he deliberately stops himself from sleeping on car rides. I think he likes to know what’s happening.
Unless you’d like another few paragraphs about Grover I think I’ll go to bed.
The name of your playlist is funny. The music my peers listen to are the same ones they loved in high school or university and I find the music a bit stale now. I also search out new music. Fresh stuff.
Are you feeling refreshed after your break? Are you going to give in this year and celebrate Halloween?
Sara, Sids trying to sleep and you’re trying to keep him engaged. Lol. Can’t wait til you do the long drive and your passenger/s falls asleep. (Being very animated seems to work.) ☺️
I never thought I would listen to a band called Ekkstacy - fun to discover "new" music. Kurt Vile & the beaches also landed on my Spotify playlist. My favorite swedish artists are Miriam Bryant, Benjamin Ingrosso, First aid kit, Laleh, Darin, Miriam Bryant, Miriam Sanden, Daniela Tatyana & Felix Sandman.

Here in the car. He feels safest if all. He can lock all the doors. Its the only way to sleep, in cars.
