This is awesome stuff. I’m fully hooked on all these machinations and the nitty gritty that is often untold. THIS is the spice of our lives. How things got started and the toils. The final product most times can speak for itself. I love these little snippets. Please don’t stop. 😊

Hi Tegan and Sara,

Such a great book and not surprised, as everything you both do turns to gold!

I’m hoping I didn’t offend you both. Sorry if I did. I get a little overzealous sometimes on social media. 🫢

I loved Junior High (thought I would be too old for it but it was nostalgic reading it). I've given my copy to a friend to read as she loves graphic novels. I was so excited when This Is Everything (climbed up on a rainbow) was included, will need to listen to the audio version to hear your recording of it!

Haven’t listened to the audiobook yet but I’m so excited to do so soon (Once I finish working on a literature review for a research I am writing 🙄). I was wondering if we’ll get Climbed Up on the Rainbow on Spotify?

Hey Tegan,

This’ll be short as it’s already 2am, (editing me- yeah as you can see that didn’t happen, also spoilers for junior high are in here!) Obviously (as I said last time) please read the posts when you can (I understand you can’t on tour, just a reminder). Thank you for doing an audio version of junior high, I’m looking forward to listening to that too and separately for once as I have been able to enjoy reading the book (the physical book) which is huge for me. I’m sad to say I’ve nearly finished it, I’m putting off reading the last couple chapters because I don’t want to finish! I loved it though! The story AND the illustrations! So awesome! So many relatable cringey moments that I had very similar experiences with. I loved the way the drama was expressed in the illustrations! Fantastic! 👌!

I did find it annouying not being able to tell young T&S apart sometimes as I’m so used to just knowing who’s who but I got used to looking for what clothes who was wearing and as the book progressed I knew the twin talking about Noa is probably Tegan and the twin talking about Roshini is probably Sara (sorry if I spelled Roshini wrong). I still loved it though! So awesome and gay! (I say that as a proud member of the LGBT+ community, for the record)!

Part of what I also loved about it was, because in many ways the story had similarities to high school, you got to actually SEE it happen in thoughts and feelings in a way that is so hard to convey with just words!

Thanks for the post Tegan! Thanks for reading anyone who did, go read junior high if you haven’t (and if you’re curious who Noa and Roshini are.

I loved hearing this is everything, because of the amount of times I’ve heard the audio book for high school I was picturing teenaged T&S singing it unconfidently!

Any fellow dyslexics reading (or more likely listening to this) reading out loud really helped me when I read this but I found it a very good and pretty easy read! Just took it as slow as I needed!

Night.

Looking forward to the audio version, once I’ve finished reading it 🥰 Life has been hectic lately so might be a pool read later this year ☀️🌴 I LOVED the Highschool audiobook with all the sound snippets of songs and recordings. I remember we listened to it as we were driving around Calgary and on our way to Banff National Park 🫶🏻❤️ So excited to dig into the Junior High journey x

I can't wait to listen to the audiobook! I loved reading Junior High so I bet the audio version will be even better!! I'll probably listen to it during my work commute. I've also gotten so many copies of Junior High I'm thinking about giving one to my mom for her classroom!

God this book was such a joy!

Are you guys considering translating it to additional languages? I'm a certified translator and I'd love to see it in Hebrew!

I just talked about it to a mother of identical twins and in general, I found myself recommending it to so many parents!

I listened to the audiobook twice and it was awesome. The one time I listened to it while following along with the physical version of the graphic novel. I loved how the word crybaby made it into the script. I am in love with the book version of Climbed Up On A Rainbow. This is Everything was already one of my 100 favorite Tegan and Sara songs.

Growing up would have been much easier with books like this. All of your books provide resources for our youth that most would otherwise receive in their homes. We thank you for sharing the process of excitement, as it provides us with a clear view that your desire to create these books is for a greater purpose: To help. We see you, Tegan and Sara! We see you go above and beyond your role as musicians, to being leaders of change. Thank you!

Love those character sketches from Tillie! We are big fans of Junior High; Rosie and I read it alongside each other the first time, and she has gone on to read it another 3 times independently. It has really sparked an interest in graphic novels for her. We are almost done with the audio version. It’s so fun, I find myself smiling and chuckling a lot as we listen. Excited for book two and all your other projects coming soon! 🧡

So cool to see how long it took, and all the scenes behind it, with you both and Tillie. I’m loving the audiobook and of course loved the graphic novel itself. Talking of how much work it took to adapt it. I love the special audiobook opening with you both explaining who you are, as yourselves, with your younger selves!! 😊😂

It's really cool, and I'm loving hearing you both. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the book! And to read the second graphic novel, Crush, next year!! ❤️
