Just wanted to say thank you for responding to my post yesterday. I was grieving hard over a beloved pet that I had just put to sleep and I looked at my mail and saw your answer to my question. It may not mean anything to you both but it meant the world to me and cheered me up. Thank you for appreciating your fans enough to interact with us. You both have tons of integrity. 🥰
That was cool! I agree, from the sounds of that you’ll get along fine, (from what I know about you and Sara too of course). It was funny when she said about getting to know your music in 2008, cause I’m very good at separating my dates to T&S dates (hopefully that makes sense). What I mean is, I was 10 in 2017, right, but I don’t think ‘I was 10 then’ when I’m watching the con x tour recordings. Although it is weird for me when I think I wasn’t alive for your first 4 albums! I wish I’d been alive for at least So Jealous. For me I have to separate the dates cause every time I think about the con I don’t want to think ‘I was 1’. You see what I mean? Anyway, my point was it was weird when SB/Tomberlin said ‘2008’ because, cause it was Tomberlin my brain went ‘wow I was only 2’. Hopefully that tangent was Vaguely interesting?
Getting back onto topics more related to this post, the second you announced that you’d be touring with Tomberlin I started listening to some of her music and while I don’t at all regret it, I did originally start listening cause I assumed she’d come with you next year to Australia! (🤞🏼)! I realised a couple weeks ago that there’s no guarantee of that at all, but still good music!
From the sounds of the substack zoom, I know more about Tomberlin’s music than Sara does. LOL! (In Sara’s Defence she was busy learning to look after Sid at the time.)
