Lol. Great story…Sara. 😉

The snapshot of Georgia giving you a big lick on the face tells me everything about your dog mom capabilities. Ya did good. 😊

We also like the mindless fun shows at the end of a long day. There are so many good shows out there but you really have to focus.

For me, it’s Kitchen Nightmares or anything Gordon Ramsay. I think I would squeal if I saw him IRL, too. We get you.

Glad you’re unharmed from the deluge and home safe (I assume?)

The fact that you love the housewives makes me love you even more if that's possible. And for me Potomac right now is my favorite, with Beverly hills a very very close second

Ah the housewives. Glad you had such a fun fan girl moment 😂 In the fog of early parenthood, I watched a lot of all the housewives shows. Also, my mom LOVED it, so it’s one of the shows I’ll watch to feel a little closer to her since she died 🧡 I believe her faves were Potomac, Beverly Hills and NJ.

Well now I don't feel so bad admitting that I watched the entire original RHONY during the first 6 months of covid.

My dog looks like Georgia in the video...always on her back....means they're happy :-)

I get it about the show....I watched all seasons of Shameless. Now I'm rewatching House M.D.; any show with sarcasm in it will do :-)

Omg, I loooove Potomac! Just like you and Sofia, I started binging Potomac during Covid lockdown and was hooked! Peacock has been my most watched streaming service for quite some time now.

If you already haven’t, Housewives of Dallas was another one I binged and was surprised how entertaining it was! Also, The Traitors is soooo good and has some Housewives on it! Phaedra Parks is everything on that show!

I would probably explode if I ever got to go to Bravocon. I don’t think my brain could handle it, haha.

Wait, you’re going to BravoCon?? Lol my 10 year old calls the Housewives “the show where the ladies scream at each other all the time” as he rolls his eyes. I call it junk food tv, delicious! 😋

That’s so exciting. I myself am a fan of NJ and BH. However, I am a HUGE fan of Vanderpump Rules. When I was in LA for your show in August we went to TomTom and met Tom Schwartz and Sandoval (eww) lol. I was so excited. Tom Schwartz was so incredibly nice and he was so handsome in real life. He hugged me longer than I episode expect a stranger to hug you haha. I also went to eat at SUR. It’s fun to immerse yourself into someone else’s reality who is so different from you.

Hey Tegan,

Thanks for posting! Is there a way you could do a video and an audio next time?

(Me editing- sorry, another long one! I could talk dogs for hours!)

Dogs, a topic I could go on endlessly about. Wow, 2020 is when you got Georgia, so she’s turning 4 this year? Time flies!

Getting Grover changed my whole world, except, (thank goodness) he wasn’t/isn’t a puppy! He was rejected from the seeing eye dog program after doing nearly the whole thing, because he got too excited with other dogs. Now he’s with me, my assistance dog some of the time and a happy pet dog the rest of the time, much more his speed. I acknowledge how lucky we were to get Grover, and I love how respectful he is of things like knowing not to jump up on the dinner table and respecting our food, things that may seem easy but keep in mind he’s a Labrador! He was only 14 months when we got him so there was, of course, a few bumps, he chewed threw a couple pairs of my favourite jeans and so many underpants at the start before we realised he needed more mental stimulation, and being a young dog he still likes to test the boundaries, but we are so lucky!

Having said that, with the place my mental health was in at the time (and is, to a certain extent still in) I wouldn’t have been able to handle a puppy. Not to mention over the course of the months we were trying to get him, we applied for 10 other dogs before we got a reply.

As I’ve started looking into getting a puppy for next year, as a sibling for Grover, I can recognise the differences though. Not to mention the stories I’ve heard from the dog community that we’ve built up, about their dogs as pups. I’m hoping by next year I’ll be in a much better place and ready to start to tackle saving for a puppy. There’s so much to save for! Jeez! Vet bills, beds, toys, food, leads, collars, etc.

while I could go on forever about dogs, I’ll move onto the other part I planned to mention. I know next to nothing about real house wives, but I’ve never been super into reality tv shows so I haven’t tried it. I do however get what you mean about wanting a light escape sometimes. I still watch shows that are probably intended for middle school aged kids, for the reason of wanting a contrast from a lot of the other dark shit I watch/go through. If you’re way of escaping from the world isn’t hurting yourself, or others, then who am I or anyone else to judge. I don’t like to judge other people’s escapes from the world, we all need to do it sometimes.

Can I just say, I just looked up Candice (the girl in the pic with you) and laughed when I saw part of her last name. One of my favourite dog breeds (one of the ones I want to get in the future), is called a basset hound. And part of her last name is basset! 😂. So it all ties in!

I felt for you when you quoted the ‘bye Sara’ toward the end. I wouldn’t know, but it probably felt really good but also kind of shit? (An acknowledgment, but to the wrong twin).

Thanks for sharing with us Tegan!

There are so many housewives shows that I just wouldn't know where to start 😂 That's so cute that Georgia has a show she relaxes to with you 🥰 For our two girls, Ru Paul's Drag Race is the one show that gets their attention, & they actually sit and watch it sometimes! They aren't too bothered about anything else, although our youngest does growl at every single animal she spots on the TV 🫠 Is there anything that Georgia doesn't like TV-wise? xx

losing my mind at this—I LOVE rhop, it’s the only housewives franchise I watch but I watch it religiously. I met Ashley Darby at an event in dc last year and she was SOOO nice and was so thrilled when I commented on her “pride” rainbow heels (guess I looked gay?)!

That’s so cool! And I completely get it. We all have one show that we watch, that just does it for us, and just chills us out!! ☺️

Adorable, seeing that video, of you and Georgia watching it together.
