In my opinion you "made it" a long time ago and everything else is an extension of that. Thanks so much for sharing, I love the photos and the insight of being younger and now mentoring Seazynn and Railey, it reminds me of your old interviews and how you must have felt, I understand your point of view a little better now. I can't stress enough how Seazynn and Railey seem the perfect casting and how excited I am for them and for you. I'm sure this is overwhelming for everyone but they'll be fine, you'll do great things together and apart, best of luck!
You and Sara have created an entire community for people all over the world that makes us feel safe, connected, happy etc. just from your music alone. All of the joy and negative emotions are 100% valid. Give yourself credit, empathy and grace. (Harder said then done, I know).

Words can’t describe how proud I am of the two of you and how far you’ve come!! I still can’t believe you’re making a TV SHOW its so surreal to see and i’m just so so proud. I’ve been a fan for 8 years and I get so nostalgic when I think about all of the amazing thing you’ve done since I first discovered you and your music.
I’m going to be 21 in a few months so reading this post was so fun to get to know about where the two of you were in your career at that age! I’m so excited to turn 21, I feel like I will be able to have so much more freedom.

How does one not feel ancient looking at the picture of Seazynn and Railey sitting in their cute lil winter getups?? Yesterday I was 21 and today I'm approaching 30.

Sometimes I think what the world would be like without Tegan and Sara..I think it would be boring, and I'm not alone in that.. I don't get it this place;''’’ We should probably work harder to be kinder and more understanding to each other''..How you treat each other?..Sara, don't be mad at me, but I think you both made it..There are billions of people who love you both and they want you both to be happy and peaceful.. I'm glad I live in the same world as you both(as if there another World:) )..I love you both so much ❤️ ❤️
I remember following Seazynn & Railey on TikTok about 2 years ago. As soon as I heard that you were casting for Highschool: a TV series, I immediately thought of those two, and how fitting they’d be. I saw the subtle call for them and was thrilled that they might get this opportunity. & over the last few weeks, connecting the dots that they were the “ones.” This will be a sort of parallel experience, getting their “big break,” as you two did close to their age. It will be amazing for them to have people like you through this adventure. I respect the self awareness that you have towards the angst, uncertainty, and pressure of an experience like this. I can’t wait to see the results in the end, and all of the “fit checks,” along the way.
I cannot WAIT for this show. Reading your book, I was nodding the entire time. The scenes, the music, the lack of supervision haha... We're the same age and, even though I grew up in NY state, so much about our lives have been similar. I'm ready for the flashbacks and the soundtrack. :)
This was such a great read, going to the US between the ages of 18-21 when you come from a place that considers you legal at 18 is such a weird experience. One day I can drink the other I can even get close to a bar 😅.
I love what you said about the similarities you see in seazynn and railey when they interact with each other because when the news broke that they would play you I (shamelessly) stalked them on social media and was obsessed with how they talked to each other, it reminded me so much of some of your on stage banter. I hope that when they realize we, as fans, think they’re perfect for this they’ll be less nervous and just enjoy the ride.

This phrase is really powerful and it is true that at some point you ask yourself: Who am I? What am I going to do? and a lot of questions that you rarely manage to solve.

I'm surprised you can remember anything from that long ago when it's well documented that you have no memory, even of some songs you have written... what's it called the ocean? Lol jk
You guys must be so nervous for the little twins, I'm even nervous for them, getting plucked out of tik tok to take on something so huge. God I hope acting comes naturally for them. They seem so great and so fun. This is all so enormous and amazing, when will this be streaming?
That was very surreal. A very nice and emotional read. The way you express your affection, concern, and worry over what Seazynn and Railey must be going through is just so beautiful and, dare I say, motherly? I love that you and Sara are very helpful to them. I can assure you fans are in love with them. When we watched their TikToks, we couldn’t help but notice the resemblance they have with you and Sara. I’m so happy we get to see your lives on TV and the cast is just spot on! This is a new and a huge step that everyone’s excited for. I guess you can look at it this way: this time it’s not just you and Sara going through it, but another set of twins going through it with you.
I always wonder if it is easier that you and Sara are two people taking care of business. For example, instead of doing everything on your own, Sara gets to do one part and you the other. However, I guess the feeling of being alone just can’t be washed out by having a twin.
Also, love those pictures you shared. Hoping to see more on filming High School and on this new journey of making a show and how different it is from making a record. I remember I used to wait for your daily tweets updating fans after a day of recording LPX in the studio, and I can’t wait to listen to each song you hinted at. Now I just can’t wait to see each detail in High School acted out by Seazynn and Railey. I’m pretty sure they will not let people down.
