If you don’t know what to wear and are afraid that people don’t know you, just wear some merch with your face and the band name on it. You are welcome

You two have always looked stunning at events, whether they are 'red carpet' or not. And the Heartthrob Era was strong, all those shirts/blazers, leather jackets & Doc Martens? 🔥

You've both worked so long & fought so hard for the LGBTQ community, and it's just one of the many reasons your fans are always so proud to wear your merch out in the world, & support you in all you do, because you are always selflessly giving back. I hope you have an amazing night on Sunday, you both deserve it. You've never once looked nervous or anxious, so I know you'll both smash it ❤️❤️ So incredibly proud of you. Go get it 😎 x

Hey Tegan,

Thanks for posting! I think you kmow what I’m about to say, I know you’re on tour right now but when you’re not please read for us. (I know I sound like a broken record).

Great photos! I love a lot of the stuff you guys wear, sure there’s been the occasional outfit we’re I think ‘huh, ok then’, and same with the haircuts, I think you’ve had one haircut each that I wasn’t a fan of. It’s funny, generally I’m not a massive mullet person, but you two always look good with them. The general consensus I came to was that in most cases AFAB people look better with mullets than AMABs. Sorry, don’t come for me, mullets can look good on other people (T&S being two of them), but not everyone looks good with them. Don’t come for me in the comments! 😅.

I believe it or not, have seen get along (all three films), I even have the dvd! I was only 3 years old in 2009 so I wasn’t a fan back then but I love that era too, I do think it’s funny how you (T&S) looked 20 for your whole 20’s and early 30s. Now you guys look 30. Hope it’s the same for me 🤞. But I’d settle for being gendered correctly by strangers without having to tell them. 😔.

In the photo where you said ‘we dressed ourselves can you tell?’, no I can’t usually tell when you dress yourselves, but there are times (especially when you were younger) that I can tell you had little to no say in what you were wearing. I’d like to think I can tell if you’ve had almost no say in what you’re wearing, but it’s just guesses.

I find it weird the way some people will comment exclusively to say things like ‘I hate that shirt’ (feel free to replace shirt with anything relevant in your head.). I’m pro free speech but really? You want to be known as the ‘I hate that shirt’ person on the T&S platform, good for you I guess. People who spread hate irritate me. As I said there are some haircuts and outfits of yours (both of yours) I haven’t liked, doesn’t mean I’ll tell you which ones. What good would that do, you can’t go back and pick something else even if my opinion about that top mattered to you anyway, which why would it when I can tell you how much I liked your hair. That’s just an example, but you get what i mean (hopefully?). Sorry for the rant. Hope the meaning was clear, I see stuff like that and get annoyed on your Behalfs.

Why even try, objectively a good song, rap is one of the only genres I don’t really vibe with, so it’s not one of my favs but if anyone in the comments likes rap songs definitely go listen.

Exciting that you get to go to the JUNOS! I’ve heard of them, but this is the same person who’s heard of the Grammy’s so I’m not one to gush over how great it is. Still I hope you both have fun!

Thanks for sharing Tegan! Hope the tour’s going well. (I’m keeping track on various YouTube channels and it looks/sounds great.)

I love your red carpet looks! I had just joined the Tegan and Sara fandom when you won your Junos and I remember the excitement at you attending the Oscars, I stayed up all night to watch the red carpet livestream and your performance! You slayed with your outfits, Sara's androgynous dress was iconic and I remember looking up your jacket and considering buying it for my graduation. Your style has definitely given me more confidence and inspiration when I have to dress up for events. Congrats on your Humanitarian Award, so well deserved! I am sure whatever you wear will be amazing and I'll be replicating it the next time I have to dress up haha!
